SHEET A-101

Architects

3D models from architectural plan sets

A complete 3D model built from the plan set: structure, openings, roof, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, gas and site, each modeled as a separate element and traced to the sheet it came from.

Model to plan sheet
Showcase House 001Loading the model.

The model is built sheet by sheet from the plan set, and plan views are cut back from the model. Because both come from one source, wall locations, openings and schedules match between the drawings and the 3D views.

Where drawings conflict or leave a dimension open, the item is logged and returned to the architect as a question with its sheet reference. Nothing is assumed.

Inputs
Plan set

PDF sheets: plans, elevations, sections and schedules. CAD or BIM files where available.

Site information

Survey or site plan, grading and utility locations where available.

Selections

Finish and material schedules, where the model should show them.

Deliverables

System layers

Plumbing supply and drain, gas, electrical, HVAC and solar, viewable separately or together.

Per-system layers

Room breakouts

Any room isolated with its walls, openings, finishes and systems at true scale.

Verification
Element records

Each element is time-stamped and hashed when built. Any change after sign-off is detectable.

Source tracing

Each element references the sheet and detail it was built from.

Scan check

Where site scans exist, the model is compared against them point by point.

Named sign-off

Each deliverable is reviewed and signed by a named person before release.

Confidentiality

  • Processed on dedicated, encrypted hardware
  • Client drawings are used only for the client’s project
  • No outside AI services
  • The client receives the model; methods remain proprietary
